This weekend I want to invite you to explore music. Maybe there is a concert going on in your
community. Maybe you pick up your hymnal
and just let it fall open to a page, then sing/read or pray that hymn. Maybe you go out online and visit the website
of your favorite artist. One new song
I’ve discovered is Carolyn Arends’, “Maladjusted”. Or listen to a song you can remember from
growing up. Or, if you are feeling
really brave and bold, play some Christmas music since it is almost Christmas
in July. Have fun this weekend letting
your soul sing out with joy to the One who awakens music in every heart. Alleluia and Amen.
