Prayer

 


Thank you, O God, for the ways You are still speaking, swirling, supporting, and transforming.  Help guide me today to reflect Your presence through words and actions and my very being.  Continue to help me see and own the story You are helping to co-author.  Continue to help me understand that my point of view is a view from a point, that I don’t understand fully what happened or is happening.  There is always more mystery to life than I will know ~ both within me and around me.  Help me prayerfully realize, as Paul prayer, “I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. (Romans 7:15)” You enter in each heart with renewal and restoration to remind us who we are every day.  Thank you, God, for this day.   Amen.
