Friday Prayer

This week, you have prayed and played with Psalm 46.  I pray you found this meaningful and you experienced moments of new insights and of God’s presence with you.  Please pray with me.

God, in the middle of July, meet us in the center of our lives.  For some, there is a chaos that resides right now in our souls.  The storms of life rock the small boats we travel upon.  For others, there is a peaceful calm of resting in You.  For still others, the stillness is restlessness and we long for a light breeze at our back to help us as we navigate this world.  God, since the Exodus, You have been on the move wherever Your people are.  We pray this would be our experience ~ to encounter You in the wilderness of life this day.  Meet us where we are, remind us You are, and help us be open to what will be as we enter the second half of this year.  Amen and Amen.
